After owning her own teashop in London in the 1980s, Jane Pettigrew has gone on to write 15 books on various aspects of tea and worked for six years as Editor of Tea International, a journal to the Tea Trade. She and Bruce Richardson now serve as Contributing Editors for TeaTime magazine.
Jane has also acted as a consultant for such companies as Wedgwood and trained staff in five-star hotels and tea rooms worldwide, including the Langham properties in London, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Chicago. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences on tea-related topics and has worked on numerous projects with the United Kingdom Tea Council. You will find Jane often appearing on television or being interviewed for radio networks such as BBC.
Jane and Bruce have co-authored four books, including The New Tea Companion (titled Tea Classified in the UK) and A Social History of Tea.
Jane Pettigrew resides in London.
